Yes we have vaccines and no you do not need a prescription. Our pharmacists are able to prescribe vaccines for people following the CDC criteria for each vaccine.
We try to keep the following vaccines in stock -
*Regular Flu Vaccine
*High Dose Flu Vaccine
*Prevnar 20 (Pneumonia)
*RSV
*Shingrix
*Tdap
If you are driving a long distance to our pharmacy, it's best to call ahead to make sure we have the vaccine(s) that you need in stock. If we don't have what you need that day, we can typically order many of the vaccines for the next business day. (The main exception to this is the COVID vaccine. This may change soon as supply increases, but for now it may take a few days to get it back in once we are out of stock).
Do I need a prescription? No- our pharmacists can prescribe & administer vaccines for you following CDC criteria.
Do I need to make an appointment? No - we offer vaccines on a walk in basis Tuesday - Friday 10am - 5pm and Saturdays from 11am-1pm. You will fill out a short questionnaire to help our pharmacists determine if the vaccine is appropriate for you, we'll bill your insurance and then you'll get your vaccine(s). This typically takes about 10 - 20 minutes depending on how many people are ahead of you. If you are driving a long distance to the pharmacy, call ahead to make sure we have the vaccine(s) you need in stock.
What should I do to help speed up the process? Make sure we have the correct insurance information for you. If you have Medicare, we will need your Medicare Part B card (it is red white & blue and the ID has a combination of letters & numbers on it). Also, be sure to wear clothing that will make it easy for us to reach your upper arm.
