Refills

We offer many ways to refill your prescriptions including our automated phone system and the RxLocal app.

To use the automated phone system, just call our number and follow the prompts to refill a prescription.  You will be asked to enter the prescription number (do not include letters) on your Lakeside Pharmacy prescription bottle.

To use the app, download the RxLocal app (Text RXLOCAL to 64980 to receive a download link). Once it is downloaded, you can see a list of your medications, request refills, learn about your meds and ask our pharmacy staff questions.

Transfers

Are your prescriptions located at another pharmacy?  Transferring to Lakeside Pharmacy is easy.

Just call or stop by and let us know you'd like us to transfer your prescriptions.  We will need to know the name and contact information for the other pharmacy and the names of the medications you would like us to transfer.  Once the other pharmacy sends us the prescriptions, we can fill them when you need them.

If you need help finding a plan, we can connect you with someone.  We know of some local agents and we have also partnered with AllState to help connect you to people who can help answer questions & assist with enrollment:

Prescription Notifications

How will you know when your prescriptions are ready?

Our computer system will send out an automated phone call, text message and/or email as soon as the prescription is ready for pick up. If you don't receive a notification, give us a call and we can let you know where it is in the process. Remember to keep your contact information updated with us so we can reach you.

Medication shortages

In the past couple of years, pharmacy has seen unprecedented drug shortages.  This is happening throughout the country and is not unique to our area. Our pharmacy uses a different supplier than most other pharmacies in our area and we have contracts with secondary wholesalers to help us find your needed medications.  However, there are some products that nobody can get due to manufacturer backorder.

In these cases, you may need to have a discussion with your doctor to find an alternative treatment option that is available. If you are expecting a prescription and have not received your notification that it is ready, give us a call.  It could be that we have been searching for the product and have had difficulty finding it - there are so many shortages at this point that we do not physically have time to call everyone who is affected.  We apologize for this inconvenience - it is out of our control.
